Search for new super heavy elements and nuclei using projectiles heavier than 48Ca.

Studies of super heavy elements and nuclei profit from the recently commissioned laboratories dedicated to the studies of heaviest isotopes.

The reactions involving projectiles heavier than 48Ca are applied to create the nuclei at the Island of Enhaced Stability.

Selected examples of recent experiments including the search for a new element 119 will be presented together with some recent modeling.
