Partial wave analysis of the reaction γp→pK+K−π0 for low K+K−π0 invariant mass
ORAL
Abstract
Mesons that have K+K−π0 decay products are potentially interesting as exotic states, however, many non-exotics have the same decay products. On the way towards uncovering exotic meson states, a major goal of the GlueX experiment, located at Jefferson Lab, is to map the nonexotic light mesons into their respective nonets using a linearly-polarized photon beam impinging on a liquid hydrogen target. A partial wave analysis of γp→pK+K−π0 events collected with the GlueX detector will be presented. The K+K−π0 invariant mass spectrum is probed for meson resonances decaying to a0(980)π0 and K∗(892)K. A search within GlueX data of axial-vector meson resonances f1(1285), f1(1420), f1(1510), and h1(1415), as well as pseudoscalar meson resonances η(1405) and η(1475) will be shown.
