The Photo-nuclear Transparency of Rho0 Mesons in Hall D at JLab
ORAL
Abstract
The experiment E12-19-003, conducted at Jefferson Lab’s Hall D in 2021, aimed to explore the predicted QCD phenomenon known as color transparency in photons, mesons, and baryons using photoproduction from deuterium, helium, and carbon nuclei targets. I will discuss the preliminary results on photon transparency of the rho0 mesons. Methods for removing background events from the reconstruction of rho0 mesons will be examined. Additionally, I will present the preliminary results of cross-section ratios between the different nuclei as a function of momentum transfer |t| (GeV²).
