Determination of spin correlations in the decay of 6Be.

Abstract
The research field of spin entanglement has become increasingly significant as a bridge between nuclear physics and quantum information science. In this context, the study of strongly interacting hadrons from the decay of ²He has served as a test for the Bell-CHSH inequality [1]. The spin correlation function derived from this experiment clearly supports the predictions of nonlocal quantum mechanics. Building on these findings, we propose to determine the spin correlation function of hadrons produced in the decay of the unbound nucleus ⁶Be into ⁴He and two protons. In this contribution, we will discuss the experimental challenges involved in realizing such a measurement.
