Revisiting Parity Violation in Neutron-Nucleus P-Wave Resonance Reactions
ORAL
Abstract
The NOPTREX collaboration is devoted to the study of parity violation and time reversal violation in neutron-nucleus resonance reactions. The TRIPLE collaboration conducted a broad survey of parity violation in heavy nuclei at Los Alamos which was completed a couple of decade ago and summarized in two major review articles [1][2]. Since that time new data on many of the relevant n-A spectroscopic parameters has appeared. We report on an ongoing project to update the weak matrix elements estimated by TRIPLE using this new nuclear data.
