sPHENIX Measurements of Di-Electrons
ORAL
Abstract
One of the primary goals of the sPHENIX detector is to probe the Quark Gluon Plasma through the measurement of Υ quarkonium decaying into electron-positron pairs. A critical aspect of this process is the accurate identification of electrons. Information from the Electromagnetic Calorimeter, Hadronic Calorimeter, and tracking detectors can be used for electron identification. I will provide an update on the status of di-electron pair reconstruction using the data collected from sPHENIX during the Run24 p+p collisions.
