QCD constraints on isospin-dense matter and the nuclear equation of state

Abstract

In this talk, I will give an overview of recent calculations (arXiv:2307.15014 and arXiv:2406.09273) in which we mapped out the entirety of the zero-temperature, isospin-dense portion of the QCD phase diagram using many (~6000) pion systems in lattice QCD. In addition I will discuss how this calculation gives a nonperturbative constraints on baryon-dense QCD.
