T.D. Lee, J.D. Bjorken and Nuclear Physics

Abstract

We celebrate the lives of T.D. Lee and J.D. Bjorken, in particular their impact on physics as we know it today. This talk will focus on the contributions of each of these extraordinary individuals to nuclear physics, with a focus on relativistic heavy ion physics. Brief remarks will also be made regarding current discussions of the 1957 Nobel Prize and C.S. Wu.
