In memory of two greatest contributors to modern nuclear physics: TD & BJ
ORAL · Invited
Abstract
In Aug. 2024, we lost two giants in theoretical particle/nuclear physics, Professors T. D. Lee and J. D. Bjorken. Both of them had made monumental discoveries in fundamental physics which provided crucial insights into the hadronic/nuclear physics world. In this memorial talk, I will briefly visit some of the important milestones in their lives and discuss their unparalleled influences in hadronic/nuclear physics, with the exception of quark-gluon plasma and heavy-ion collisions which will be covered by Prof. Zajc's talk.
