Opportunities to search for P-even/T-odd interactions using polarized neutron optical transmission in compound nuclear resonances
ORAL
Abstract
Observation of an electric dipole moment in nucleons or nuclei can be caused by a new P-odd/T-odd interaction. It can also in principle result from a new P-even/T-odd interaction coupled with a P-odd electroweak radiative correction. It is therefore useful to consider how to conduct more sensitive searches for P-even/T-odd interactions between nucleons. We will present some possibilities using polarized neutron optical transmission on neutron-nucleus resonances.
