On Systematics of Double-Beta Decay Half Lives

Recommended 2$\beta(2\nu)$ half-lives and their systematics are examined in the framework of a semi-empirical approach. Impacts of nuclear deformation, transition energy, shape coexistence, and forbidden transitions on half-live values were observed. These findings were used to predict T$_{1/2}$ for 36 isotopes of interest. Current results are compared with available data.
