Abstract
The CLAS12 very strange physics program aims to study the electroproduction of doubly strange cascade hyperons. Which are experimentally underexplored. The reaction ep→ e'K+K+K-(Λ/∑) is being investigated with an electron-beam energy of 10.6 GeV using CLAS12 data. We detect scattered electrons with either the forward detector, covering a polar angle range of 5ο to 35ο to study electroproduction, or with the forward tagger covering a polar angle range of 2.5ο to 4.5ο to study quasi-real photoproduction. Charged kaons are detected with the CLAS12 detector, which covers a solid angle of nearly 4π. Λ/∑ hyperons can be reconstructed using the missing mass technique to explore intermediate double strange hyperons which decays to K- and Λ/∑. In this talk, basic data features and preliminary mass spectra from the study will be presented.
