Abstract
When high energy nuclear collisions result in the creation of a quark gluon plasma (QGP), hard partons scattered in the collision lose energy as they traverse the QGP. This can be observed using two-particle collisions. Data from the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider are compared to Monte Carlo models using analyses developed in the Robust Independent Validation of Experimental and Theory (RIVET) program. The RIVET analyses were used to compare the data to PYTHIA Angantyr and JETSCAPE. The formatting of the raw data from the collisions and the creation of the RIVET analysis were integral to the process of interpreting the data. Measurements of two-particle correlations will be emphasized.
