The first anti-kT jet measurements in hadronic e+e- collisions at 91 GeV with ALEPH archived data at LEP
ORAL
Abstract
- In this talk, we present the first anti-kT jet measurements from the archived ALEPH e+e- data taken in 1994 at a center of mass energy of sqrt(s) = 91.2 GeV.
Jets are reconstructed with an anti-kT algorithm with a resolution parameter of 0.4. Both inclusive jet and leading dijet spectra are measured, together with a number of substructure observables.
The results are compared with a wide range of event generators including e+e- event generators such as PYTHIA, HERWIG, SHERPA and heavy ion jet generator PYQUEN, which includes jet quenching.
These results with the clean e+e- collision system serve as excellent references to further the understanding of jets and jet medium interaction. Also, those data can be compared with hadron collider results, both in proton-(anti)proton and heavy-ion collisions.
