Electroweak and BSM Physics at the Electron Ion Collider
COFFEE_KLATCH · Invited
Abstract
The Electron Ion Collider (EIC) is primarily focused on detailed studies of QCD and nuclear structure. However, the combination of its high luminosity, wide kinematic reach, polarized beams, and variety in nuclear targets also allows for a program of electroweak physics and constraining physics beyond the Standard Model (BSM). In this talk, I will give an overview that includes constraining the weak neutral current couplings, lepton flavor violation and other BSM scenarios, and the electroweak structure functions.
