Signature of the QCD Critical Point from a Holographic Approach

Abstract
We employ the equation of state with critical behavior obtained from the holographic model studied in [1] to compute higher-order susceptibilities of baryon number. We relate our susceptibilities to the moments of the distribution of net-protons measured in heavy-ion collision and discuss possible signatures of the critical point.
