Search for the exclusive photoproduction of a leptophobic B boson at GlueX
ORAL
Abstract
An exclusive search for a directly photoproduced leptophobic B boson coupling to the baryon number is performed at GlueX by looking at its main decay channels. The data collected so far can give a significant contribution to this search, and in case of non observation GlueX can improve the existing exclusion limits on the gauge coupling $\alpha_{B}$ by a factor O(100) in the mass region between 450 and 900 MeV. Details of the analysis are presented along with motivations for similar BSM searches at Jefferson Lab.
