Peripheral production of $\eta\pi$ resonances

We present some results on the peripheral production of $\eta\pi$ resonances. The reaction model features general constraints such as unitarity and analyticity. We discuss the formalism for $\pi$- and $\gamma$-beams, and show results on $D$-wave resonance extraction using data from the COMPASS experiment.
