Parton Distributions in High Density Nuclear Matter.
ORAL
Abstract
We investigate the modification of parton distributions in the nuclear medium in the density domain defined by short range multi-nucleon correlations(SRC). Special emphasis is given on the implication of the recently found dominance of proton-neutron SRCs on generation of flavor dependence in the modification of nuclear partonic distributions. Such a flavor dependence can have measurable impact on parity violating lepton-nuclear deep inelastic scattering and can explain the origin of NuTeV anomaly.
