Quarkonium production in heavy-ion collisions at the LHC

Recent results on charmonium and bottomonium production and suppression in PbPb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 2.76~TeV at the LHC will be reviewed. Furthermore, these results will be compared to theoretical models and measurements at lower center-of-mass energies.
