SciBooNE experiment, the neutrino cross section measurement

ORAL

Abstract

The SciBooNE experiment will measure muon neutrino and antineutrino cross sections on carbon near 1 GeV with unprecedented precision. SciBooNE uses the Booster Neutrino Beam at Fermilab and the SciBar vertex detector formerly used in the K2K experiment at KEK. SciBooNE started its data run in antineutrino mode in June, 2007. Physics potential of the experiment and first data will be shown.
