Mixing Characterization of Containerless Droplets
ORAL
Abstract
In recent decades, various droplet-based methods have been developed to enhance liquid handling efficiency. The primary objective of these methods is to reduce reagent consumption and facilitate high-throughput experimentation. In our research, we focus on uncovering underlying physics governing droplet mixing. To accomplish this, we performed a series of systematic experiments to answer how liquid properties, droplet size, and impact velocity influence the process of droplet mixing. By applying our findings, we can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of liquid-based experiments, leading to advancements in various scientific and industrial fields.
