Construction of a velocity field across an interface in an incompressible flow

Abstract
We present a method to construct a velocity field across an interface in an incompressible flow. The velocity field is divergence free and satisfies the no-slip no-penetration boundary conditions at the interface. Such a velocity field can be used to derive an analytical solution of the forced NS equations subject to an interface. The analytical solution can then used to validate numerical methods for the simulation of flows with interfaces.
