Viscous Flow past a Semi-Infinite Plate

Abstract

Numerical investigations are made to simulate two dimensional viscous fluid flows past a semi-infinite plate at early short time. Details of the flow structures are visualized using a finite difference method. The shedding of the vortex sheet from the plate tip is studied.
