Calculation of Attosecond Transient Absorption Spectroscopy in MoS2

ORAL

Abstract

Attosecond Transient Absorption (ATA) spectroscopy has emerged as a powerful tool for investigating ultrafast electron dynamics in solid-state systems with unprecedented temporal resolution. In this work we study ATA phenomena in condensed-phase systems, with emphasis on understanding the k-point-resolved dynamics within the Brillouin zone. We solve the semi-conductor Bloch equations for a periodic system interacting with a two-color field. By leveraging the principle of opto-optical modulation, we study how the k-point variation of the microscopic response is reflected in the macroscopic response to a spatially modulated two-color laser beam, and in particular how this manifest in the far field. This work contributes to the ongoing development of ultrafast spectroscopic techniques, enabling investigations of electronic structure and dynamics in condensed matter systems.
