High-threshold quantum LDPC codes for long-range-connected neutral atom registers

Abstract

We present low-overhead and high-threshold quantum LDPC code memories and discuss their near-term realization in long-range connected neutral atom registers. We present results for threshold and logical error rate improvements over the surface code under mixtures of Pauli and erasure errors for applications to Alkaline-earth(-like) atom qubits. Different quantum LDPC code families are considered.
