Towards Quantum Internet Using Hybrid Quantum Technology

POSTER

Abstract

Quantum technology has rapidly developed on various platforms over the past five years. Specifically, there are two major categories for suppressing thermal noise to under quantum level: using cryogenic temperature or raising the energy level to much larger than room temperature (i.e., in the optical frequency regime). Both approaches have demonstrated their own advantages; thus, the need to link them becomes increasingly pertinent. By hybridizing the two, we aim to build an integrated system towards the goal of quantum internet.
