Towards Studying Topological Systems with Driven Rydberg Atoms

ORAL

Abstract

Using optical tweezers to realize arrays of Rydberg atoms provides a highly tunable platform for quantum simulations, enabling the design of novel Hamiltonians for the study of many-body phases and dynamics. I will describe a new experimental effort in our group aimed at combining strong and local driving in dipolar many-level Rydberg arrays for the exploration of new physics related to quantum magnetism and topologically ordered many-body states.
