Bayesian Estimation and Experimental Application for Shaken Lattice Interferometers
POSTER
Abstract
Bayesian estimation is commonly used in estimating parameters from quantum sensing measurements in quantum devices. In this poster, we discuss Bayesian estimation in detail, particularly when applied to measurements from a quantum sensor such as a shaken lattice interferometer. We analyze the error scaling in Bayesian estimation , and the role played by experimental noise and design parameters. We further discuss the presence of correlations in multi-parameter Bayesian estimation, and how these can affect the errors and convergence of the max likelihood function.
