Experiments with two dimensional arrays of atomic Bose-Einstein condensates: interference and collapse dynamics
ORAL
Abstract
We create a two-dimensional BEC array in which each sites captures one Bose-Einstein condensate. This enable us to integrate many-body effects with a defect-free BEC array. With this new platform, we study the matter-wave interference and the stochastic collapse of Bose-Einstein condensates. By repeatedly measuring many sample simultaneously, we extract the physical governing stochastic collapse via machine learning and statistical inference.
