From Quantum Turbulence to Classical Hydrodynamics
ORAL
Abstract
How well can coarse-grained quantum turbulence be described by hydrodynamic theories? Such a simplification is almost certainly needed to describe macroscopic phenomena such as pulsar glitches in neutron stars, but how well do they or can they actually work? In this talk I will discuss some ideas and present results about both bosonic and fermionic quantum turbulence that addresses this question.
