Next-Generation Rb Atom Array Quantum Testbed
POSTER
Abstract
Neutral atoms trapped in optical tweezer arrays have emerged as a leading platform for quantum information processing and quantum simulation. This platform features highly scalable atom arrays with programmable geometry, high-fidelity entanglement via Rydberg blockade, and entanglement-preserving atom transport that enables arbitrary connectivity. We report on progress towards building a next-generation rubidium atom array platform, which will be a testbed for approaches to significantly increasing the number of qubits while performing higher-fidelity Rydberg excitations.
