Spin-Nematic Squeezing in a Spin-1 BEC Using Novel Quench Techniques
POSTER
Abstract
Spin-nematic squeezing in a spin-1 condensate has been created using several methods exploiting the second-order continuous quantum phase transition using deep magnetic quenches, parametric/Floquet excitation, and adiabatic and short-cut methods to generate squeezed ground states. In this work, we explore new methods that exploit the exceptional controllability of the system Hamiltonian.
