Neutron Impact Ionization of the Carbon Atom
POSTER
Abstract
Neutron impact single and double ionization cross sections
of the Carbon atom are calculated in support of possible dark
matter observations. Cross sections for the single and double
ionization of the 1s, 2s, and 2p subshells are found for neutron
incident energies from 1.0 MeV to 4.0 MeV.
