Better Measuring through NOON States

Twenty years ago Dowling and colleagues at JPL coined the term NOON-states for many-body entangled bosonic states. Here we explore some of the applications of NOON states in quantum optics, from phase super-resolution without entanglement, through to optimal remote imaging.
