Electron-Impact Ionization of He $1s 2s$ $^3S$

Abstract
Electron-impact ionization cross sections are calculated for the $1s 2s$ $^3S$ excited state of the He atom. A time-dependent close-coupling method is used to calculate both single and double ionization cross sections. Theoretical double ionization cross sections are compared with crossed-beams experimental measurements at Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium.
