Power Dynamics & Empathic Communication

The power structures present in academia often prevent professors, students, and staff from engaging in right relation with one another. This workshop focuses on recognizing and leveling the power differential between colleagues in an academic setting. Participants will learn the importance of empathy and how to practice it in a way that builds community through meaningful communication.
