PTArcade: A Framework for New-Physics Searches with Pulsar Timing Array Data
ORAL
Abstract
Last year, multiple Pulsar Timing Array (PTA) collaborations reported evidence for a low-frequency gravitational wave background. Currently, it is not known if the background is of astrophysical or cosmological origin. However, as PTAs continue to gather data, we expect to better constrain the source of the background. With many different PTAs and models to consider, this is a daunting task. In this talk I present PTArcade: a PTA data-analysis software package aiming to make such searches easy to implement and computationally efficient.
