Correlations of Prompt Fission Gamma Rays and Neutrons in Fission

Experimental data obtained with The Detector for Advanced Neutron Capture Experiments (DANCE) and NEUANCE arrays will be presented from spontaneous fission Cf-252 and U-235. These arrays have been modeled in MCNP® and Geant4, with the aim of simulating fully correlated events of de-excitation following the fission reaction, in conjunction with the Cascading Gamma-ray Multiplicity code for Fission (CGMF). Results of simulations are compared to experimental data with the goal of constraining the parameters of the CGMF model.
