Reflections on Advancing Science through Inclusion

Dr. Kartik Sheth will discuss his lived experience advancing science and equity in the Executive Office of the President within the White House. Dr. Sheth served as the Assistant Director of Research Infrastructure and Science Equity in the Office of Science and Technology Policy and is serving as the Program Examiner for DOE Office of Science at the Office of Management and Budget at the White House. He will provide an insider's view of his path through academia, government, and non-profit organizations, describing how we, as a community of scientists and as a nation, must innovate and advance science and technology with inclusion as a core value.
