Search for Light Pseudoscalar Boson in the Composite Higgs Model using the CMS Detector
ORAL
Abstract
A search for a light pseudoscalar (a) in the Composite Higgs Model is performed in the gluon-gluon fusion production channel with decay to di-tau. The lightness of a makes it such that the most promising topology is that of a boosted di-tau topology, where a is created with significant momentum transverse to the LHC beam line before decaying into a pair of taus. Investigations have been done to show that this search is accessible with CMS Run 2 data. Preliminary expected limits on cross-section of its decay to di-tau is presented.
