New opportunities with CMS Open Data

CMS is entering of a new era for Open Data usage with the advent of "NanoAOD" data formats. This user-friendly data format can be produced for existing 2011-2015 Open Data, and the official CMS NanoAOD format will be released for 2016 data in 2024. I will review the opportunities available to use CMS Open Data for research, education, and outreach, as well as highlighting learning resources such as the annual Open Data Workshops.
