Equally Valid?

Since "can't begin to catch the wave" looks exactly like "can't begin to catch the horizon" when a wave is fast enough to reach the horizon during a quantum of time, the historical decision to deem equal interferometry measurements equally valid rather than equally invalid deserves reconsideration.
