A search for leptoquarks decaying to muons and bottom quarks in pp collisions at 13 TeV with the CMS detector
ORAL
Abstract
We present a search for scalar leptoquarks decaying to muons and bottom quarks, using 138 1/fb of data collected by the CMS detector during the 2016-2018 proton-proton running of the LHC. The final state signature considered contains two high-transverse-momentum muons and two jets, one of which is tagged as originating from a bottom quark. Unique to this analysis is a search for leptoquarks decaying to muons with the entire LHC Run II dataset recorded by CMS, and this will be the first search by CMS for leptoquarks in the mumubj channel.
