Abstract
The extracurricular contact between physics and the public can have outsized impact on attitudes and preconceptions regarding science. Public outreach conducted by the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams reaches over 15,000 guests per year through a wide array of tours, talks, camps, events, games, exhibits, the arts, and much more. Discover how we share our laboratory's message: that world-leading nuclear research is exciting, valuable, and life-changing.
