Differential Measurement of ttH to Multilepton Final States at CMS using Run-2 Dataset
ORAL
Abstract
Searching for deviations in the trilinear Higgs coupling resulting from NLO contributions to single Higgs production is a promising way to look for hints of BSM physics. The ttH production mode, despite its somewhat lower cross-section relative to other production channels, is a good candidate for this search, since a modified trilinear Higgs coupling induces particularly strong deviations in the Higgs kinematic distributions in this channel. This talk discusses the status of the ttH differential cross-section measurement in the multilepton final state from the CMS collaboration using the Run-2 dataset. A description of the ML techniques used to regress the Higgs pT, as well as an overview of the analysis strategy used to obtain the unfolded result, is presented.
