Quantum K-Means Algorithm for Signal Processing and Quantum Entanglement in Higgs Boson Decay to Four Leptons
POSTER
Abstract
Quantum entanglement is a property of quantum mechanics that has generated interest
since its discovery in the 1930s. In this presentation, we discuss an experimental analysis
result that reinforces proof of quantum entanglement and its consequences at collider energies
in particle physics by analyzing the decay of the Higgs Boson to four leptons. Additionally,
we discuss the use of the quantum k-means machine learning algorithm for more advanced
signal processing in High Energy Physics, and the small-scale implementation we've run on
the Higgs Boson decay Monte Carlo data.
