Searching for Dark Matter with Proton Beams at High Intensities and High Energies
ORAL · Invited
Abstract
Theories of light sub-GeV dark matter and dark sectors are well-motivated and are being pursued on a variety of experimental fronts. Experiments utilizing intense and energetic proton beams play a crucial role in this effort. In this talk, I will discuss the exciting opportunities to search for dark matter at both proton fixed target experiments, such as those used to study neutrino oscillations, as well as proposed experiments in the far forward region at the Large Hadron Collider.
