Abstract
The Jefferson Lab Hypernuclear Collaboration is carrying out a set of measurements to look at properties of hypernuclear matter. One particular interest by the collaboration is the issue the production and energy levels of strange baryons in large nuclear systems. As part of those studies, Jefferson Lab approved experiment E12-20-013 will use a lead target to study the limits of Λ baryons in nuclear matter. This talk will present the physics and scientific impact of the experiment.
