Installation and Commissioning of the LHCb Upstream Tracker
ORAL
Abstract
The Upstream Tracker (UT) for the Run III LHCb upgrade at the LHC is a silicon strip detector that is situated just upstream of the dipole magnet. This upgrade allows for a fast determination of track momentum and a fully software trigger. The various components of the UT were designed and constructed at different institutions around the world and brought together to be installed in the LHCb detector. This talk will showcase the installation and commissioning of the UT at the LHC.
